As a relationship coach, I’ve spoken to men who have walked away from their marriage due to this. Rejection hurts and that’s what never having someone initiate feels like and is to large degree. I’ve spoken to many men who are angry and I can’t blame them. They describe her not initiating as making them feel ugly and undesirable. We are quick to criticize men when they don’t plan more creative dates, aren’t better at conversations, and other things. Though plenty of women do initiate, I think it makes sense try to get the attention of any partner who rarely initiates to re-evaluate and make changes. Everyone appreciates feeling like they are desirable and attractive.
